Students, beginning through advanced, receive instruction in furnace glassblowing techniques for both solid pieces and vessels. This weekend class provides 16 hours of instruction and includes all tools and materials. Class size is limited to 3 and all participants must be at least 18 years old. Most students make 8 - 12 pieces of glass over the course of the weekend.
Classes are held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, the second and fourth weekends of the month. These classes are booked several months in advance, so please contact us regarding available dates.
A deposit of $150.00 is required to reserve your space in class. Once you have completed two weekend classes, individual tutoring sessions of 4 hours ($50.00 per hour) may be scheduled. Contact us for more information.
Classes are offered for all levels of bead makers, beginning through advanced. Classes are held on the first and third Saturdays of each month, and you may choose from 10:00 a.m. to noon or from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. All tools and materials are provided and most students make 6 - 8 beads in each two-hour class. Class size is limited to two and participants must be at least 12 years old.
A deposit of $25.00 is necessary to hold your place in class. Classes may also be scheduled by appointment on days other than Saturday. Please contact us for more information or to schedule a class.
This class will introduce basic glass fusing techniques and the use of dichroic glass to make jewelry cabachons. Each student will receive materials to make eight pieces. Etching, copper inclusion and mica inclusion will also be covered.
Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. or by appointment. Class size is limited to three and students must be at least twelve years old. A deposit of $37.50 is required.
This class is held on the first and third Saturdays of each month, either from 10:00 a.m. to noon or from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Students will use boroscilicate glass and a torch to make pendants. Most students will make 3 - 4 pendants per class. Class size is limited to two and students must be at least twelve years old.
A deposit of $30.00 is required.
